When fixed-gear bikes were all the rage, I used messenger bags.
After that, I loved bags like Royal Mail and newspaper bags, which were shoulder bags that hugged my body tightly.
However, before I knew it, I stopped riding my bike and somehow refrained from using messenger bags. But when I was using a sling bag I made in the spring, the desire to use a messenger bag that I could use without feeling self-conscious started to bubble up inside me.
I felt it would be embarrassing if it was too straight, so I found some garment-dyed Oxford nylon and used it to make a nostalgic messenger bag.
I think this would be easy to use for people in both tech and American casual styles.
It has a three-point belt, which was also popular with the sling bag, and can be worn on either side.
